Nutrition Therapy for Eating Disorder Recovery

Working with a dietitian who specializes in eating disorders can help you move away from restrictive food rules, food anxiety, and body distress that interfere with your life, relationships, and recovery.

Who Nutrition Therapy Can Help

Nutrition therapy may be helpful if you are struggling with food rules, restriction, bingeing, purging, compulsive exercise, fear foods, ARFID, chronic dieting, body image distress, inconsistent eating, or confusion about how to nourish yourself in recovery.

What to Expect

In nutrition counseling, your dietitian will help you build more consistent nourishment, reduce fear and rigidity around food, improve flexibility, and reconnect with hunger, fullness, satisfaction, and body cues. Nutrition therapy is weight-inclusive, non-diet, trauma-informed, and tailored to your recovery needs.
